Summary
This video is part of a series illustrating proper serological pipetting technique. This video demonstrates using the bulb to suck up liquid into the pipette, using your thumb to hold the liquid at the correct volume and then using the bulb to blow-out the liquid after transfering it to another test tube. This technique is taught in Introduction to Cell Biology: Biology 107 and Molecular Genetics and Heredity: Biology 207.
