Publishing Indigenous Trauma

Summary
Indigenous peoples have experienced devastating collective and long-term trauma. Many Indigenous peoples have been separated from their culture and history. One of the means of reclaiming their heritage is by telling their stories; however, it is often difficult for those persons to share their stories and difficult for editors and publishers to represent their stories. The panelists will discuss ways in which they have worked with individuals to edit and publish Indigenous stories with appropriate sensitivity.
